Noor Hamid

Barrister

I hold a Masters degree in Law and I was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2013. I have appeared in the High Court, Family Court and District Court.

I began my legal career in a boutique immigration firm before I was drawn to the world of litigation. I joined a speciality insurance litigation law firm, and my passion for insurance litigation has taken me from Auckland to Christchurch.

I joined St Asaph Chambers in April 2016, and I am looking forward to using my skills to further help the people of Christchurch.

I am available to act on a wide range of matters, from insurance litigation to immigration issues. In addition, I speak fluent Arabic and French, and conversational Spanish.
